Dress Code

A little guidance for dressing beautifully

Before choosing your look

A note on color

Please do not wear white or black to any wedding-weekend event. On the wedding day, we also ask that guests avoid every shade in our reserved palette below.

Six reserved wedding colors: sage, plum, pale blue, mauve, dusty blue, and soft green

Colors to avoid

These colors will be woven throughout the flowers, wedding party, and celebration details, so we would love for them to remain part of the setting rather than guest attire.

For the wedding day, please choose outside all six shades pictured. We would also appreciate guests avoiding them at the welcome dinner and farewell brunch when possible. Rich colors, warm tones, and prints outside this palette are all welcome.

The absolute rule · every event
White
Black

Please do not wear either color to the welcome dinner, wedding, or farewell brunch.

01
The beginning of the weekend

Welcome Dinner

Elevated Casual

Polished, relaxed, and thoughtfully put together without feeling overly formal.

For women, dresses, skirts, or elevated separates fit beautifully. For men, lightweight button-downs, polos, chinos, or tailored shorts are perfect.

Please skip athletic wear and very casual pieces. Comfortable and photo-ready is the sweet spot.

The Wedding

Garden Formal

Elevated, romantic, and beautifully put together for an evening in the garden.

Think flowy midi or floor-length dresses, refined florals and prints, elevated separates, and lightweight suits.

The ceremony is outdoors, so heels, wedges, or dressy flats are all welcome. Choose whatever lets you move comfortably while still feeling formal.

03
One more morning together

Farewell Brunch

Elevated Coastal Brunch

Relaxed and refined, with an effortless coastal feel—comfortable enough to linger and polished enough for photos.

Flowy dresses, linen sets, breezy silhouettes, and elevated separates are perfect. For men, lightweight button-downs, polos, chinos, or tailored shorts fit the setting beautifully.

Please avoid athletic wear and overly casual pieces so the morning still feels special.

Attire questions?

If you are unsure whether something works, we would much rather you ask than spend the weekend wondering.
